Do the fabric dance

Oh my needles and pins, did we ever do the fabric dance when this lot came through the door. Stop what you’re doing sisters and have a look at these!

Girlfriend by Sis Boom is the latest range here at
Material Obsession, 42 bolts of the most beautiful colours and prints we’ve seen in ages. Here’s a selection, plus watch the website for a stunner of a new quilt designed by Kath using the fabrics.

For all you Kaffe Fans out there, how does 29 new bolts of KF sound, plus we just got a big order of all your favourite Kaffe Fassett books in to give you ideas for how to use it all!

For the kids and those kooky girls (like Sarah who can’t get her hands off it!) there’s Lightening Bugs and Other Mysteries – spots, stripes, bikes, daisies and best of all, GOLDFISH with fabulous names like Barry and Dave.

A selection of Jane Sassaman’s new range for the garden buffs, as usual fantastic big prints with bright colours and funky graphics. Why not try Angel Wings, shown below, using the new fabrics? (see our website for more info)

Angel Wings

And as if that’s not enough, we have some beautiful new Japanese fabrics, and a lovely selection of traditional prints from the Reminiscence by Yuwa and Sturbridge Village ranges.

As well, for all those who have been patiently waiting for the
Tokyo Rose kit, we now have the fabrics and are ready to ship. The quilt is 160cm square and the kit is $195, which includes all the fabric for the top and the pattern.

AND to top it all off, we received our first shipment of Amy Butler patterns and books by Blackbird designs this week… it never ends!! Get inspired girls, there’s so much stuff in here we don’t know which way to turn. Call us for more inspiration or clarification! Happy, happy sewing…..
